Calder District Explorers Scouts

Explorers are the oldest youth section of the Scouting movement. It is for young people aged between 14 and 18 years old. They are run as district sections opposed to individual Scout groups, although for Calder District these are often seen working in partnership with a particular group but are open to Scouts from any group.

Explorers get more of an opportunity to plan their adventure with the help and support from their adult leaders. They get the chance to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, go to worldwide jamborees and much more!
