Celebration of Achievements By user on November 24, 2015 (updated July 6, 2021) In Uncategorized / 0 comments Our youth members achieve amazing things every year, whether it is a Scout completing their Chief Scouts Gold Award or a member of Scout Network completing their Queen’s Scout Award. Calder District has a fantastic number of Scouts who fulfill their potential every year, and Clyde Region organise their Presentation of Awards to celebrate these fantastic achievements of our young people. The 2015 event was held at The Hilton Glasgow Hotel on Sunday November 22nd and was open to all Scouts, Explorer Scouts and members of Scout Network within Clyde Region. Within Calder District, the following awards were achieved by our young people: Chief Scout’s Gold AwardChief Scout’s Platinum AwardChief Scout’s Diamond AwardDuke of Edinburgh’s Gold AwardQueen’s Scout AwardRegional Commissioner’s Challenge Award Christina, who received her Chief Scout Platinum Award has said “I am so excited and proud of myself to achieve the Chief award. I would like to thank my Expedition group I was with for pulling through and helping each of us be happy when the mood was low.I am very appreciative of the leaders who have taken time to guide us to achieve this award and have gone out of their way to do anything for us.” Everyone at Calder District is proud of the achievements gained by our young people and wish the best of luck to their next steps in Scouting!
